Supreme Court Orders Release of Detained Minors, Moots Independent Police Probe

The Supreme Court has ordered the immediate release of all detained protesters below 18 years of age and restrained police from taking coercive action against student protesters. The court also directed that police refrain from publicly disclosing the personal data of detained minors.
The bench further mooted an independent probe into alleged police excesses during the protests. The order aims to protect the rights of minor protesters and ensure adherence to legal procedures in handling student demonstrations.
