Supreme Court's Enquiry Committee launches complaint portal for July protest violence

A complaint portal has been launched by the High Powered Enquiry Committee to allow individuals affected by the July protests to submit complaints regarding violence. The portal enables victims to file reports confidentially about incidents that occurred during the protests.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, complainants can submit their grievances through the online portal, in person, or via post. The committee has indicated it will prioritize cases involving serious violence, with particular attention to complaints from women protesters.
The initiative aims to document and investigate incidents of violence during the July protests and provide a formal mechanism for affected individuals to seek redressal.
