Supreme Court Reconstitutes Gender Sensitization Committee
The Chief Justice of India issued an office order on September 10, 2026, reconstituting the Supreme Court's Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC) with effect from September 13, 2026.
Justice B.V. Nagarathna has been appointed Chairperson of the committee. The reconstitution was carried out under Clause 4(2) of the Gender Sensitization & Sexual Harassment of Women at the Supreme Court of India (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Regulations, 2013.
The reconstituted committee includes representatives from the Supreme Court Bar Association, Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association, Supreme Court Bar Clerks Association, and nominees of the Chief Justice of India, along with other members as per the 2013 Regulations.
