Supreme Court seeks Delhi Police response on bail pleas of two alleged Indian Mujahideen operatives

The Supreme Court has sought a response from Delhi Police on bail petitions filed by two individuals accused of being Indian Mujahideen operatives. The bench indicated that principles established in an earlier January order—which had granted bail to several Delhi riot accused while denying it to activist Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam for one year—would apply to the current case.
