Suvendu attacks CPI(M) over Durga Puja naming at bookstalls

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has criticised the CPI(M) for using the term 'Sharodotsav' instead of 'Durga Puja' at party bookstalls, accusing the communist party of deliberately avoiding the traditional festival name.
Adhikari's remarks reflect the ongoing political tension in West Bengal over cultural and religious terminology. The CPI(M) has historically used alternative names for Hindu festivals in official contexts, a practice the BJP has repeatedly targeted as anti-religious.
