Tamil Nadu forms Anti-Narcotics Task Force under CM's direct control
The Tamil Nadu government has formed an Anti-Narcotics Task Force to address the drug menace in the state. The newly created force will operate under the direct control of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, signalling the government's priority on combating narcotics-related crimes.
The move comes as drug trafficking remains a significant law enforcement challenge across the state. By placing the task force under the CM's direct purview, the government aims to ensure coordinated action and faster decision-making in anti-drug operations.
