PM Modi's Birthday Marked With Prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday was celebrated with special prayers at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi on Thursday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Chirag Paswan and BJP UP president Pankaj Chaudhary participated in the ceremony.

The special puja was conducted with Vedic chants and traditional rituals. Yogi said it was a matter of pride that Modi, the Prime Minister and MP from Varanasi, was celebrating his birthday. Prayers were offered for Modi's good health and long life at Baba Vishwanath Dham.

The programme included felicitation of priests and sanitation workers associated with the temple. Priests performing rituals were presented angavastram and dakshina, while sanitation workers were honoured with angavastram, prasad and dakshina. Materials were distributed in eco-friendly jute bags.
