Tamil Nadu's dual adviser model for CM Vijay draws mixed reactions from bureaucracy

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has appointed two advisers to work alongside the Chief Secretary, a structural choice that has generated mixed responses from the state's bureaucratic establishment. The dual adviser arrangement represents a departure from conventional administrative practice.
Beyond the two advisers, the Chief Minister is supported by a team of four IAS officers, including one with over three decades of administrative experience. The new governance arrangement is being closely watched as the TVK regime settles into its administration.
