Tamil Nadu defers breakfast scheme expansion to September 22

The Tamil Nadu government has deferred the expansion of the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme to September 22. The scheme will be rolled out across all districts except Chengalpattu and Tiruppur, where the Model Code of Conduct is in force ahead of upcoming Assembly bypolls in Madurantakam and Dharapuram segments.
