Vijay Launches Vettri Payanam, Hands Out Tickets to Women

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's government has expanded the Vettri Payanam free bus scheme for women. Over 84 lakh women will benefit daily from the initiative, which now allows beneficiaries to use all bus service categories, including deluxe and express options.

Actor-turned-politician Vijay personally participated in the launch event, handing out tickets to women beneficiaries. The expanded scheme represents an increase in the reach and scope of the original free travel programme for women across the state.
