33 medical super-speciality seats remain vacant in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has been unable to fill 33 super-speciality medical seats in its institutions. The state reserves 50 per cent of these positions for service candidates, which has contributed to the vacancies.
The unfilled seats represent a gap in the state's medical education and healthcare infrastructure capacity. Officials are examining ways to address the recruitment shortfall and ensure these specialised positions are adequately staffed.
