Tamil Nadu to Launch Annual Retina Screening Programme for People Over 30

The Tamil Nadu health department is set to launch the 'Save Retina' (Vizhithirai Kaappom) programme, a statewide initiative focused on early detection of retinal disorders. The programme will conduct annual screening of people aged 30 and above across the state.
The initiative aims to identify retinal health issues at an early stage through systematic screening, helping improve eye health outcomes among the population.
