Six TASMAC outlets in Tamil Nadu ordered to relocate following residents' petition

Six TASMAC liquor outlets across Vellore, Ranipet and Tirupattur districts in Tamil Nadu will be relocated following a petition from residents. The District Collector held a consultative meeting with local police and revenue officials to identify alternative locations for the outlets.

Relocation paperwork has commenced as authorities move forward with the plan to shift the outlets to new sites identified during the meeting.
