TDP Candidate Mithun Reddy Violates Election Rules at Nomination Filing

The Superintendent of Police in Punganur alleged that TDP candidate Mithun Reddy violated election norms while filing his nomination. According to the officer, only two people are permitted to accompany a candidate into the nomination centre, but Reddy entered with approximately 100 supporters.
The SP also stated that Reddy breached the 100-metre restricted perimeter rule around the centre by driving his vehicle directly into the gates. The incident occurred at the Punganur nomination centre this morning.
Election officials enforce these protocols to maintain order and prevent intimidation during the nomination filing process. The violations have raised questions about adherence to election commission guidelines.
