Telugu-Origin Researcher Among Three Who Identified OpenAI Security Flaw

Three cybersecurity researchers, including one of Telugu origin, identified a critical account-takeover vulnerability in OpenAI's systems. The researchers, working under Hacktron AI, reported the flaw through the company's official vulnerability disclosure program.

OpenAI acknowledged the security issue and awarded the team a $6,500 bug bounty for responsibly reporting the vulnerability. The discovery highlights ongoing efforts by independent security researchers to identify and patch weaknesses in major technology platforms.
