TMC Flags Discrepancies in BJP Candidate's Affidavit in Nandigram Bypoll

West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress has challenged the accuracy of the BJP candidate's affidavit for the Nandigram bypoll, citing alleged discrepancies in the submitted documents. The TMC's move comes as the region prepares for the electoral contest.

Nandigram has remained a politically significant constituency in West Bengal for nearly two decades. The BJP responded to the TMC's allegations, though details of their statement were not immediately clarified.

The bypoll is expected to intensify the rivalry between the two parties in the state.
