Ritabrata Banerjee faction submits three party name and symbol options after EC freezes TMC identity

The Ritabrata Banerjee faction of the Trinamool Congress has submitted three options for party names and symbols to the Election Commission following a directive to propose separate identities for the upcoming Nandigram and Rejinagar Assembly bypolls.

The Election Commission had instructed both TMC factions to suggest distinct names and symbols after freezing the original TMC identity. This step was taken due to the internal dispute within the party over its official representation.

The bypolls are scheduled to be held for the two assembly constituencies, with both factions now preparing for electoral participation under separate designations.
