Tripura court sentences 5 Bangladeshi nationals to 2 years for illegal entry

A court in Tripura's Unakoti district has sentenced five Bangladeshi nationals to two years in jail for illegally entering India. The convictions were handed down in two separate cases.

The group included a couple among those prosecuted. All five were found guilty of crossing into Indian territory without proper documentation or authorization.
