Tripura High Court waives jail terms for four Bangladeshi nationals, orders deportation

The Tripura High Court has waived jail terms for four Bangladeshi nationals and directed the state government to arrange their deportation. The individuals were among 13 people detained by the Border Security Force at Srirampur Manu bridge on February 27, 2025.

Ratilal Das and his wife, Binita Rani Das, were among those held during the BSF operation. The court's order allows for their release and repatriation instead of serving jail time.
