TVK MLA V.S. Babu hospitalised with respiratory ailment

V.S. Babu, the 75-year-old Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) MLA, has been hospitalised at MGM Healthcare in Chennai since September 9 with a respiratory ailment. He is receiving treatment in the Critical Care Unit under a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

Babu, who represents his constituency, gained prominence after defeating former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in the recent Assembly elections.
