Uttarakhand Media Delegation Visits Chhattisgarh on Five-Day Press Tour

A 13-member media delegation from Uttarakhand began a five-day press tour in Chhattisgarh on Monday, organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Dehradun under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The journalists arrived at Raipur to explore government welfare schemes, research initiatives, technological advancements and developmental projects.

During the tour, the delegation will visit national institutions, research centres and infrastructure projects in Chhattisgarh to gain first-hand exposure to Central Government initiatives. The press tour aims to familiarise media professionals with development activities, scientific innovations and digital governance advancements being implemented across the country.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting regularly organises such media exposure tours to enable journalists to directly assess government programmes and communicate accurate information about national achievements to the public.
