MDMK leader Vaiko urges Tamil Nadu CM against copper smelting plant approval

MDMK general secretary Vaiko met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and presented a memorandum opposing government approval for a private copper smelting plant in Thoothukudi district. The memorandum raised concerns about the proposed industrial facility in the region.

Representatives from NASSCOM and CTS also participated in the meeting with the Chief Minister, indicating involvement of the IT industry in the discussion.
