T. Veena, daughter of ex-Kerala CM Vijayan, questioned by ED in CMRL payment case

T. Veena, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in connection with a payment probe. The ED is investigating allegations that Cochin Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) made payments worth ₹2.78 crore to her now-defunct IT company Exalogic without receiving any services in return.

This marked Veena's first appearance at the ED office in relation to the case. The investigation focuses on whether the payments constituted an irregular transaction linked to the state's metro rail project.
