VHP activist's alleged killer deported from UAE, arrested by NIA

Harwinder Kumar has been deported from the United Arab Emirates and arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the murder of Vikas Prabhakar, a VHP activist.

Prabhakar was shot dead on April 13, 2024, at his confectionery shop in Nangal, Roopnagar district, Punjab. The killing was carried out by terrorists belonging to a BKI (Babbar Khalsa International) module. Kumar's arrest follows his deportation from the UAE, marking a significant development in the investigation into the case.
