Vice Admiral AN Pramod assumes Navy deputy chief role

Vice Admiral AN Pramod has assumed office as Deputy Chief of Naval Staff. As Director General of Naval Operations (DGNO), he was instrumental in the planning, preparedness, and operational readiness efforts of the Indian Navy during Operation Sindoor.

Pramod's appointment comes after his tenure overseeing critical naval operations and strategic initiatives. His experience in operational planning and execution is expected to strengthen the Navy's command structure.
