Vijay clarifies jaw gesture was not meant to mock Stalin's Emergency injury

A row erupted after actor and political figure Vijay placed his palm near his jaw while criticising the DMK and its frequent references to the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA) from the Emergency era. Critics alleged the gesture was mocking Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's injury sustained during the Emergency period.
