Vijay Invokes MGR, Jayalalithaa Legacy; Says TVK Alone Can Challenge DMK

Actor and Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) founder Vijay invoked the legacies of former chief ministers M.G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa while campaigning for his party TVK. He questioned voters on whether they would support parties that "betrayed" the two former leaders.

Vijay claimed that TVK was the sole political force with the "guts" to take on the ruling DMK. He alleged that both the DMK and AIADMK work in alignment with the BJP, asserting that TVK stood as an independent alternative for Tamil Nadu voters.
