Vijay opposes delimitation proposal, seeks status quo

Actor and politician Vijay has opposed a proposed delimitation exercise, arguing it would severely affect Tamil Nadu and other states that have controlled population growth.

In a resolution, Vijay stated that the delimitation proposal would undermine the interests of states that have successfully managed demographic expansion. He called for maintaining the existing status quo on delimitation boundaries.
