Vijay's TVK wins both Tamil Nadu bypolls, strengthens assembly presence

Actor-politician Vijay's Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has secured victory in both Tamil Nadu bypolls, bolstering its strength in the state assembly.

In the Dharapuram constituency, TVK candidate P Sathyabama initially faced a closely contested race against the AIADMK. However, she eventually pulled ahead to claim a decisive victory, adding to TVK's tally in the house.

The dual bypoll wins mark a significant performance for the relatively newer political outfit, demonstrating its growing electoral appeal in Tamil Nadu politics.
