Vijay's TVK Wins Both Tamil Nadu Bypolls, Defeats DMK

Actor-turned-politician Vijay's Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) party has secured wins in both bypolls held in Tamil Nadu. P Sathyabama won the Dharapuram constituency by a margin of 9,471 votes, while Maragatham Kumaravel triumphed in Madurantakam with a margin of 17,305 votes, both defeating DMK candidates.

These victories mark a significant performance for TVK in its first electoral test since the party's launch. The dual wins are being viewed as a prestige moment for Vijay as he establishes his political footprint in the state.

The bypolls were held against the backdrop of growing political consolidation in Tamil Nadu, with multiple parties competing for voter attention.
