Farhan shines on captaincy debut as Pakistan chase down Sri Lanka

Sahibzada Farhan made an impressive start to his captaincy, scoring 89 runs as Pakistan successfully chased down Sri Lanka's total of 183 in the first T20 International. The aggressive partnership between Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat proved decisive, with the hosts sealing victory with seven balls remaining.

Sri Lanka had posted a competitive total, powered by Lahiru Udara's 91-run innings. However, Pakistan's chase was marked by clinical execution and bold batting throughout the innings.

The two teams are set to continue their T20 series with upcoming matches scheduled in Rawalpindi.
