Amritpal Singh's Party Questions Election Commission Over Symbol Delay

Tarsem Singh, father of jailed Khadoor Sahib MP and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh, has questioned the Election Commission of India over delays in allotting an election symbol to the party. In an exclusive statement to News18, Tarsem Singh asked whether the party was not part of India's democratic process.
Tarsem Singh raised concerns about the prolonged wait for symbol allocation, which typically precedes electoral participation. He emphasized that the party remains engaged with the electoral process despite the administrative delays.
According to Tarsem Singh, the core issue affecting Punjab remains the drug menace, which he said should be the primary focus of governance and policy measures in the state.
