Without West Bengal, we'd face fate of Chinmoy Das: Adhikari

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari drew a parallel between the state's creation and the persecution of religious minorities, invoking the case of arrested Bangladesh activist Chinmoy Das. Adhikari alleged that both the Left Front and Trinamool Congress governments had systematically eroded Bengali Hindu cultural and religious traditions in the state.
Addressing the issue, Adhikari promised to restore religious and cultural practices that he claimed had been undermined over decades of Left and TMC rule. His remarks reflect broader BJP messaging on Hindu cultural preservation ahead of state-level political engagement.
