India series performances boost West Indies for 2027 World Cup Qualifiers: Sammy

West Indies coach Daren Sammy has stated that his team's performances in the ongoing India series will provide confidence as they prepare for the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers.

The West Indies have the opportunity to make history by becoming the first team to defeat India in a home series since Australia achieved the feat in February 2019. This chance will come in the final match of the series scheduled in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Sammy views the current series as a crucial period for the team to build momentum and gain valuable experience ahead of the qualifying tournament. The strong performances demonstrated during the India tour are expected to serve as a morale booster for the squad as they prepare for upcoming international commitments.
