West Indies Request Extra Coconut Water Supply for Indore T20 Match

The West Indies team management has requested the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to arrange extra supplies of coconut water for players ahead of the T20 match against India at Holkar Stadium on October 11. MPCA CEO Rohit Pandit confirmed that while coconut water is routinely provided during matches and practice, the West Indies team has specifically sought additional stocks this time.
The request comes as Indore faces rising temperatures and hot, dry conditions. With players engaged in intensive physical activities during practice and the match, adequate hydration has been made a priority. Food arrangements are also being customised for both teams, with emphasis on vegetarian options and post-match recovery nutrition.
Beyond hydration and diet, the MPCA is arranging ice bath tubs for player recovery and finalising accommodation, transportation and security. The Indian team will stay at Radisson Hotel while the West Indies team will be at Marriott Hotel during their Indore stay.
