World leaders hail Modi's 25-year political journey as historic milestone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received congratulatory messages from world leaders on Wednesday as he completed 25 years as head of government. Leaders from across the globe praised his achievements at both national and international levels, with tributes ranging from spiritual metaphors to recognition of political leadership.
Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay referred to Modi as an "avatar of Vishnu," crediting him with awakening self-belief among Indians and giving the nation a clear vision through the Viksit Bharat mission—to become a developed nation by 2047. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi expressed deep respect for Modi's dedication to India's development and his consistent political leadership since 2001.
The messages reflected Modi's influence on the global stage and his role in shaping India's trajectory over two and a half decades of public service.
