21-Year-Old Electrocuted by Faulty Cooler at Vrindavan Temple

A 21-year-old man, Abhigyan Gupta from Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, was electrocuted near the ISKCON temple in Vrindavan on Monday morning. He was visiting the temple with his father, Amit Kumar Gupta, for darshan when he accidentally touched a fan-cooler system installed by the Municipal Corporation near the entrance. The cooler had developed an electrical fault and become live with current.
The incident occurred around 10:30 am at the temple's shoe stand. When Abhigyan touched the cooler, the electric shock threw him back against the machine. His father rushed to help but was also affected by the current. Locals and devotees separated him from the cooler and rushed him to District Joint Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
