Agriculture, edible oils anchor India-Argentina economic ties

Argentine Ambassador Mariano Caucino underscored the strengthening economic partnership between Argentina and India at a summit in Mumbai. Agriculture, particularly edible oils, has emerged as a key pillar of bilateral cooperation.

Argentina is currently experiencing record supplies of edible oils, contributing significantly to India's food security needs. In 2025, shipments of soybean oil and sunflower products to India are projected to rise substantially, further deepening the trade relationship between the two nations.
