AIADMK faces fresh crisis as ex-minister quits despite EPS-CVS truce

The AIADMK continues to struggle with internal instability even after faction leaders EPS and CVS withdrew their mutual disqualification complaints. The reconciliation attempt has failed to stem the exodus from the party, with former minister Vijayabaskar becoming the latest to resign.
The deepening divisions within the party have weakened its organisational strength. Despite efforts to bridge the factional divide between the two senior leaders, the AIADMK remains fractured, triggering a series of departures among its senior members.
