Dynastic politics keeps SP united, says Akhilesh

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has defended dynastic politics within the party, arguing that having five family members as MPs has prevented internal divisions.

Akhilesh stated that the presence of family members in parliamentary positions has ensured the party remains cohesive and avoids the kind of splits that have affected other regional outfits. He framed this arrangement as a structural strength rather than a weakness.

The remarks come as the SP prepares for electoral contests and seeks to consolidate its position in Uttar Pradesh politics.
