AMC Storm Water Line Project Scam Worth Crores, Action Taken Against Officials

An irregularity worth crores has come to light in the storm water line project for rainwater drainage at the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). Following this, the ruling party, under pressure, has issued orders to take legal action against the corrupt officials.

At the Standing Committee meeting of the Municipal Corporation, BJP Chairman Kamlesh Patel has given strict instructions to the administration. However, there is apprehension at the administrative level that these measures may prove to be merely a formality.
