Andhra Pradesh raises age limit for govt jobs; uniform-service candidates seek wider relief

Andhra Pradesh has raised the age limit for government employment, rekindling hopes among job aspirants as existing age relaxation nears expiry in a year. The move addresses demands from candidates seeking extended opportunities in state recruitment.
However, uniform-service candidates—those who have served in the armed forces or paramilitary—continue to seek broader age relief windows. They argue the current relaxation does not adequately accommodate their career transitions from military service to civilian government positions.
