Andhra Pradesh releases draft rehabilitation package for Amaravati land acquisition

The Andhra Pradesh government has released a draft Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) package for the Amaravati capital region land acquisition project and invited public feedback. Farmers, landowners, displaced persons, and other stakeholders have been given 15 days to review and submit comments on the proposed package.

The move aims to gather input from affected communities before finalizing the terms under which land will be acquired and compensation provided for the new capital project.
