Lokesh, Pemmasani inaugurate ₹142-crore railway overbridge project in Mangalagiri

Officials laid the foundation stone for a ₹142-crore railway overbridge project in Mangalagiri. The four-lane bridge, to be constructed at level crossing gate No. 14, is designed to address recurring traffic congestion in the area.

The overbridge will improve connectivity between Mangalagiri, Amaravati and Tadikonda by eliminating daily traffic disruptions caused by train movements at the level crossing. The project is expected to enhance vehicular movement and reduce travel time in the region.
