Andhra Pradesh to remove 43 doctors for prolonged absence from duty

The Andhra Pradesh government will remove 43 doctors from service for extended absence from their duties, the state's Health Minister announced. The action follows show-cause notices issued to the doctors, some of whom had remained absent for nearly four years without authorization.
This is the second such disciplinary action taken by the government within a month against medical professionals for prolonged absence. The removals aim to address gaps in healthcare staffing and ensure accountability among medical personnel in government health facilities.
