Andhra Pradesh reservoirs at 57% capacity; CM Naidu stresses drinking water priority

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday addressed the eighth Collectors' Conference, highlighting the state's water storage situation. Reservoir levels currently stand at 57% capacity, a significant decline from 85% recorded during the same period last year.
Naidu emphasized that drinking water supply must remain the top priority despite the lower storage levels. The statement comes as the state grapples with water management challenges amid the reduced capacity.
