Election Commission allots symbols to three AP political parties

Andhra Pradesh's state election commissioner Anil Chandra Punetha issued an order on Friday allocating electoral symbols to three newly registered political parties.
The Jayeeta Sama Samajam Party has been allotted the 'Bat' symbol, while the Bharatha Chaitanya Yuvajana Party received the 'Battery Torch' symbol. The Rashtriya Praja Congress (Secular) Party was assigned the 'Gas Cylinder' symbol.
Symbol allocation is a routine administrative process conducted by election authorities to ensure that each registered political party competing in elections has a distinct, recognizable emblem for voter identification purposes.
