Army to set up 6 high-tech labs to detect foreign surveillance bugs in drones and CCTV cameras

The Indian Army is establishing six high-technology laboratories aimed at detecting and removing foreign surveillance elements embedded in drones and closed-circuit television cameras used by the defence forces.
These specialized facilities will focus on identifying potential security vulnerabilities and malicious code that could compromise military operations. The move reflects growing concerns over cyber threats and foreign intelligence activities targeting defence infrastructure.
The initiative underscores India's push toward self-reliance in defence technology and ensuring the integrity of critical military equipment.
