Arunachal Pradesh tightens recruitment rules with PRC, ST certificate, tribal language requirements

Arunachal Pradesh has introduced stricter recruitment rules for government positions. The state now makes three requirements mandatory: possession of a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC), a Scheduled Tribe certificate, and proficiency in a tribal language.
These new norms aim to prioritize local candidates in state recruitment processes. The move reflects the government's policy to ensure that government jobs benefit residents who meet the prescribed local identity and cultural criteria.
