Attacking an MP is equivalent to attacking Parliament: A.P. High Court

The Andhra Pradesh High Court observed that attacking a Member of Parliament is no different from attacking Parliament itself during a bail hearing. The remark came while considering the plea of an IPS officer in connection with a custodial torture case involving MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju.

The court was examining the circumstances surrounding the allegations against the police officer in the case.
